Leo Quarcoopome is a founding partner of HRP Consult and now the Managing Partner. A Certified Human Resource Professional, Facilitator and Trainer with experience across Not-forprofit, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Upstream Oil and Gas industries and consulting. Leo is also a conference speaker both locally and internationally, serving as resource person for workshops.

He is one of the facilitators for the human resource professional certification programme of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners (IHRMP), Ghana contributing immensely to the development of the profession and professionals in Ghana. With over fifteen (15) years of experience, Leo has both a generalist and specialist HR backgrounds, having worked in indigenous SMEs and medium to large multinational companies.

He holds an International Executive MBA from PGSM; he also holds a Bachelor of Education Psychology degree from University of Cape Coast, Ghana; is a Certified Human Resource Practitioner (CHRP) of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana and a Senior Professional in Human Resource Management (SPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), USA. He is a member in good standing with both the Society for Human Resource Management, USA and the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana, where he currently serves on the National Governing Council, the highest decision-making body.
Kwame Boakye-Gyan is the Co-Founder of HRP Consult. Kwame is a result oriented professional, energized by challenge with over 10 years of progressive Human Resource Management and 8 years of Cybersecurity experience supporting management teams and employees through change and growth in both areas. Kwame is currently a Cybersecurity Consultant at PricewaterHouseCoopers (PwC), U.S.A and is also the Co-Owner of CyberLinks Technologies Ghana.

Before joining PwC, he worked as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for a U.S Federal Agency. Kwame has worked with Sears Holdings Corporation, U.S.A, as an HR Operations Generalist and Unilever Ghana Limited as a Training & Development Assistant/Employee Relations Assistant in the past. He has also worked at Lutheran Social Services/NCA in Washington D.C first as an HR Intern and later as HR Assistant in-charge of developing Training Programs. He holds a B.A Psychology degree from University of Ghana, Legon and a second degree from Aston Business School, U.K in MSc. Work Psychology & Business.

Kwame also holds an MSc. in Human Resource Management at the University of Maryland University College, Maryland, an HR Generalist certification from George Washington Business School and a Certification in Cybersecurity & Risk Management from Harvard University’s Office of Vice Provost for Advances in Learning.

Kwame has been an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) where he helped to develop the mentoring program for their Washington D.C chapter. He is also a member of the ISC2, U.S.A, where he holds a Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) certificate.

He is the Founder of Walk2Learn International, a 501 (c) (3) educational and health charity organization that sources and donates books, educational resources and health supplies to the less privileged in Ghana. He is also the Diplomatic Attaché/Human Resource Consultant for the Mother of Humanity charity organization, Beverly Hills, U.S.A.

Associate Consultants

  • Caroline Hammond
In the last four years Carol worked as a tax consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Ghana (“PwC”). While there, she managed a portfolio of clients and assisted them in tax advisory and compliance matters. Her duties typically involved advising on complex industry-specific tax issues in mining, oil and gas, financial, manufacturing and service sector. She also worked with clients to ensure that direct and indirect tax requirements of the Ghana Revenue Authority were complied with.

In addition, Carol led project teams on due diligence assignments where she prepared engagement proposals, coordinated workflow, executed the fieldwork (review of financial and tax positions) and reported on findings. On occasion, she was involved in negotiation with the revenue and other regulatory authorities on behalf of clients to resolve pending issues regarding compliance and outstanding payments.

Prior to working as a tax professional, Carol worked as a Senior Associate in the Assurance Line of Service of PwC Ghana for close to three years. While working there, she planned and performed audits and financial reviews for clients in the Financial Services, Manufacturing, Telecom and Service sectors across Ghana, and in Liberia and Sierra Leone.

In PwC she was a key member of a team that periodically reviewed, summarised, analysed and disseminated new tax laws and regulations passed by parliament and /or new developments on the tax landscape to clients and other stakeholders.

Further, Carol was also actively involved in various thought leadership programs and publications including PwC’s Annual Budget Highlights and Afri Tax publication, On Point (tax alerts), PwC’s Global World Wide tax summaries etc .

Her areas of expertise include Financial analyses and reviews, Business development, client relationship management; and Research and preparation of reports and publications.
